Our customers – and their customers in turn – are increasing their demands as regards function and safety. We constantly work at optimising our quality, not only of our end product, but at every stage of activities. Bulten Stainless is one of a few companies in the fastener business to be certified to ISO 9001:2000. This is the latest, most modern version of quality certification.

ISO 9000:2000 focuses more on management responsibility. Explicit demands are made on the involvement of management in our quality work, leading to clearly defined objectives and targets for the various areas of activities. The obtained results are to be measured and assessed to the defined objectives.

The identity and status of every product is to be established. Making sure that the established routines are being worked to is a central part of the new ISO 9000:2000, as are fulfilling customer wishes and customer satisfaction. Customers’ requirements and expectations are to be stipulated by contract before manufacture or purchasing takes place. Control and testing are to be carried out continuously.
